Tennessee has added five non-conference games to its future football schedules, all set to be played at Neyland Stadium.
According to contracts obtained by the Knoxville News Sentinel, the Vols will host:
Chattanooga in 2028 and 2029
Bowling Green in 2029
UT Martin in 2030
Austin Peay in 2031
The additions complete the three-game non-conference slates for 2028 and 2029 and set the season openers for 2030 and 2031. They are designed to give Tennessee seven home games each year as the SEC moves to a nine-game conference schedule.
Tennessee will pay a $550,000 guarantee to the three FCS programs (Chattanooga, UT Martin and Austin Peay) and a $1.3 million guarantee to Bowling Green, an FBS opponent.
The new games mark return visits for all four schools. Tennessee last played Chattanooga in 2024, Bowling Green in 2021, UT Martin in 2022 and Austin Peay in 2023.
