KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — Tennessee linebacker Jaedon Harmon will miss the entire 2026 season after suffering a torn ACL in practice on Saturday, according to multiple reports.The sophomore from Rome, Georgia, was a key contributor on special teams and saw growing defensive snaps as a true freshman in 2025.
Harmon appeared in all 13 games last season, finishing with 19 tackles (12 solo), 0.5 sacks, 0.5 tackles for loss, and one pass breakup.A four-star recruit in the 2025 class, Harmon flipped his commitment from Alabama to Tennessee in August 2024. He enrolled early and dealt with a shoulder injury that required surgery and limited him during spring practices before his freshman campaign.
The injury is a blow to Tennessee’s linebacker depth heading into the season under head coach Josh Heupel. Harmon had been expected to compete for a larger role in 2026 after his solid debut year.
