The first SEC availability report for Saturday’s Tennessee-Texas game was released Wednesday night. It will be updated daily and again 90 minutes before kickoff.
Tennessee listed tight end Ethan Davis, wide receiver Joakim Dodson, linebacker Jaedon Harmon, defensive back Edrees Farooq, cornerback Jadais Richard and safety Dylan Lewis as out. Running back Javin Gordon and defensive lineman Nathan Robinson are questionable.
Davis, Dodson, Harmon, Farooq and Richard were already out for the season. Lewis suffered a foot injury against Kennesaw State and was seen in a walking boot.
Running back DeSean Bishop and defensive lineman Daevin Hobbs were not on the report. Bishop left the Kennesaw State game with a hip injury and returned briefly. Heupel said Monday Bishop was feeling pretty good and would be ready Saturday. Hobbs did not play last week.
Texas listed defensive lineman Justus Terry, defensive back Xavier Filsaime and offensive lineman Jordan Coleman as out. Tight end Nick Townsend is doubtful. Running back Hollywood Smothers is questionable. Edge rusher Colin Simmons is probable. Safety Kobe Black is not listed after missing the UTSA game.
No. 14 Tennessee (3-0) hosts No. 1 Texas (3-0) Saturday at noon ET on ABC.
